Insurance for Museums Workshop, 23rd April 2013, British Library Conference Centre

This new one-day event from the Collections Trust will focus on the insurance needs of UK museums. It will address why museums need insurance, the different types of insurance available, how to find policies which suit their needs, and the availability of bespoke policies to cover specific activities and collections items.  Visit the Collections Trust website for booking details.

Birmingham Creative Education Network

The Birmingham Creative Education Network is open to everyone working in culture or heritage, with an interest in education and outreach.

The network is free, has no formal membership (just turn up to meetings) and is a great opportunity to meet fellow colleagues from the region.  The meetings are informal, and rotate around various locations in Birmingham.  This means that you get to visit new venues, and meet regional colleagues.
